A compact and characterful plant native to South Africa. Its plump round leaves are semi-succulent and are attached to thick stems that stand erect when short and end up trailing downwards. An undemanding plant requiring only moderate watering and reasonably good light
Position - indirect light or partial shade
Water - Allow soil to partially dry out between watering. These do not like being too wet as water is held in the leaves and stems. Do not leave the pot sitting in water as this will lead to root rot. Wrinkly leaves loosing their plumpness is a sign of under watering. Yellow/blacking leaves and leaf fall is a sign of overwatering
Feeding - An application of a balanced feed once a month from spring to autumn will give it a nourishing boost
Ideal Temperature - 14°C and 21°C (65°F and 75°F).
Re-potting - only when necessary using an aerated, free draining potting mix
