A slow growing clumping dwarf palm native to tropical forests of Mexico and Guatemala
Position - a warm spot with indirect light/partial shade.
Water - regularly enough to keep the root ball consistently moist but not soggy. The top couple of inches can be allowed to slightly dry before watering again. Water evenly around the plant and discard any excess that flows out of the base. Do not leave the pot sitting in water as this will lead to root rot
Feeding - Apply of a balanced feed once a month between spring and autumn to give it a nourishing boost
Ideal Temperature - 18°C and 24°C (65°F and 75°F).
Repotting - only when necessary as palms hate root disturbance. Re pot in loamy aerated peat free compost with added bark or coir
