Minimalist wire pot hangers
As part of an evolving handmade collection unique to The Planted House, we have created a unique, strong and minimal wire rope pot hanger, nicknamed Bella.
Created in Cornwall and inspired by the delicate tensioned lines of a sailboat’s rigging, Bella creates an almost invisible, ephemeral support for plant and pot.
We originally created these for our RHS Chelsea exhibit in 2022; as an intrinsic part of an aerially planted garden room. Bella pot hangers are constructed from fine and durable stainless steel wire rope and are available in a variety of fixed lengths on our shop page. We have created many hangers specifically to bespoke requirements and now offer a two tiered version where upon a small pot can be suspended above a larger one.
Bellas can provide a solution for suspending a collection of plants where space allows, (either as screening or a grouping), creating a wonderfully lush and layered aerial garden. By mixing a few different lengths together, blank walls and dead corners are made dramatically more vibrant when filled with varying heights and textures of foliage.
