Howea forsteriana
aka Kentia Palm
Endemic to Lord Howe Island, Australia
Light - prefers indirect light or partial shade, too much sun near a window will
bleach or scorch the fronds
Water - only when the top few inches of soil has dried out. Water from the top allowing excess water to drain away. Never allow the pot to sit in water.
Humidity - maintain high humidity to prevent browning of the frond tips
Feed - apply diluted liquid fertiliser monthly from spring to autumn
-Yellowing fronds may indicate overwatering
-Brown crispy fronds and brown usually indicate under watering or insuficient humidity
Repot only when root bound as palms dislike root disturbance, in free draining potting mix
Clean any accumlated dust off fronds regularly using a damp cloth
