Rattan Pot Hanger
Handmade sculptural rattan hangers, designed for hanging plants.
Born from an exploration of ways rattan cane could be used as a sculptural framework to support hanging plants and their meandering stems, these woven forms provide a beautiful and unique solution.
While any spherically shaped pot can slip neatly into the tightly woven base, it is the synergy between the rattan and Su Leaver’s earthenware planters that helped pave way to their creation.
Vining or trailing can plants can be gently teased and encouraged to climb up and around the vertical canes.
They are bound at the top with strong braided hemp, including a generous excess to allow for hanging at desired height
Each hanger is completely unique, and is available in two sizes.
These hangers can be purchased with or without a pot. If purchasing with a handmade planter, the medium and large are most suitable depending on the size of the hanger.
